Coopers Rain Gauge

Hi Everyone,
We watched Home Learning TV yesterday and I really liked learning about why and how it rains.
This is our rain gauge that we learnt to make and we are going to record any rainfall daily over the next 10 days.

  2. Hi Cooper, I went to edit my comment but I ended up deleting it! So I will do it again...
Thanks for sharing the wonderful learning with us. It sounded like a great science lesson to watch. I am really looking forward to hearing your results about the rain over the next ten days. The sky is looking very grey at my place at the moment. I had a quick look at the weather before and it looked like we might get some rain on Saturday. If we do I wonder how much you will collect in your rain gauge?
Thank you so much for your comments on other people's learning in the blog too. You and your Mum are a great team. Learning is sounding really fun at your place. Thanks for sharing and commenting on the blog, have a great weekend :)

  3. Hi Cooper. Mrs Walkinshaw here - what a wonderful thing to make. It will be very interesting to see how much rain there is. There is a farmer who lives near me and after every heavy rain fall he puts the amount of rain we have had on our community Facebook page - just to let everyone know.
I hope it rains so you can collect it.
