Rainbow Fish

It is already week 6 and this week we have a book to focus on during our play and HEART Zone time. The book is "The Rainbow Fish".

We read it every morning and have talked about the message in the story. Momo said it is good to share and Broden said Rainbow Fish is happy now he has shared all of his scales. We all think that being happy is more important than being the most beautiful.

Here are some pictures of our HEART Zones and the different learning we are taking from this book.

This is the front cover of the book. It is written by Marcus Pfister.

We are retelling the story using Explain Everything on the iPads and these masks.

We like colouring in the rainbow fish and his friends.

Broden is using the loose parts to make his own Rainbow Fish.

  1. Hi Kōtuku Learners
Broden you did a great job on the fish.
This reminds me of when we read the Rainbow fish and learnt that it was all about sharing.
Maybe next time you could show us your videos on Explain Everything.
