Dessert Challenge

Here is my dessert challenge from yesterdays meet up.

Chocolate bowls.

  1. Melt the chocolate over a pan of hot water or in the microwave
  2. Blow up balloons to fit inside a small bowl or cup.
  3. When the chocolate is melted, put it into another bowl a little bit bigger than the balloon you’ve blow up.
  4. Hold the knotted end of the balloon and dip the smooth end into the chocolate bowl.
  5. Twirl the balloon around the bowl
  6. Take out it and turn it over so that the tied end is at the bottom
  7. Put the chocolate covered balloon into a cup and sprinkle the top with whatever you want… I used sprinkles.
  8. After this you put it in the freezer until the chocolate is set.
  9. When the chocolate is set you bring them out of the freezer and pop the balloon and peel It off the chocolate
  10. Turn the bowl over, put it on a plate and fill up with ice-cream.  YUMMY!

  1. Hi Lisha- what a yummy challenge. It sound a bit tricky. Do you have a picture of the final chocolate cup?
You seem to be quite the lockdown chef!

  2. Hi, is this your post Sharlah? I loved seeing your chocolate bowl in the google meet, what a clever idea, thanks for showing the steps for us too. I think that I would like to make these one day too. Have you tried one yet? I wonder what flavour ice cream you put in it?
