He likes to hide behind couches because that makes him happy, and when I sit down on the couch he tells me off!

That sure was speedy with your monster making! Mr Growly makes me laugh - but he is a bit scary too. I'm not sure I would mess with him if he was telling me to get off the couch! Great job with your describing.
